About the Plan
The Sato Savings Plan (SSP) is an in-house savings plan for those without dental insurance. It is a way to help make maintaining a beautiful smile and complete oral health more affordable. It is NOT dental insurance, but it is a way to help you save on every dental procedure you may need for the next year.
How it Works
When signing up for the plan, you are paying for your routine dental cleanings, exams, and x-rays for the entire year. In doing this you save over 15% on those services, as well as 15% off any other treatment in our office during that year. There are no benefit maximums, no waiting periods, no coverage denials, and no “insurance estimates” to wait on before treatment. From the time you enroll, you save!
What the SSP Covers:
- 2 Healthy-mouth, preventative (or prophylactic) cleanings
- Any regular dental exams
- A periodontal evaluation and oral cancer screening
- Any routine X-rays
- One emergency exam and X-ray
- Home care supplies
What you also get:
15% off all other treatment for the year:
- A third or fourth cleaning for the year (recommended for many patients)
- Restorative work like fillings, crowns, or bridges
- Cosmetic treatments like veneers
- Periodontal treatment (gum therapy)
These services would normally range from $650 to $728 (depending on the type of exams and/or X-rays needed)

BENEFITS
This savings plan:
- Can begin at any time, with no waiting periods or pre-authorization needed
- Helps you save on EVERY dental procedure performed by Dr. Sato in our office (excludes treatment by a specialist)
- Does not have any yearly maximums—there is no limit to the amount you can save
- Locks in your savings for hygiene treatments for the entire year of the plan—regardless of any office fee increases
LIMITATIONS
This savings plan:
- Begins the date full payment is made ($479) and continues for one year from that point (all hygiene appointments must be made and kept within that year).
- Cannot be used in conjunction with any dental insurance adjustments, our Golden Buckeye courtesy (for those 65 and older), or with any other special offer, discount, or financing program (CareCredit).
- Does not cover any work referred to or obtained from a specialist, another dental office, or a healthcare provider—only dental care received in our office from Dr. Sato or his hygiene team.
- Does not cover dental treatment which, in the sole opinion of the Dr. Sato, lies outside of the realm of his capability.
- Does not provide discounts for home care products (electric toothbrushes, etc.), take-home bleaching products, or in-office whitening treatments (ZOOM, etc.).
OTHER INFORMATION
This Savings Plan may be canceled by the patient/guardian at any time through written notification. If enrollment is canceled, the patient will be refunded any remaining balance not applied towards completed/initiated treatment, less any other charges (missed/broken appointment charges, collections fees, etc.) already on the account. If participation in the plan is canceled, the patient will forfeit any discounts received under the plan, however there will be no termination penalty or any additional cancellation fees charged.
NOTE: This plan is not insurance, is not subject to the insurance laws of this state, and does not meet any individual health insurance mandate that may be required under federal law.
